As summer comes to an end, New Yorkers have only a month left (not counting playoffs) to enjoy two iconic borough staples: Shea Staduim and Yankee Stadium. Both ballparks will be made into parking lots after this season to make way for new, shinier and smaller stadiums that will no doubt costs more to visit. Wanting to say goodbye to one of her favorite bars, Marisa got the girls together for one more night of Mets Juice. Unfortch for us, Friday night was getting its ass kicked by Hurricane Ike and we suffered the consequences! As the rain poured down we still make the trek on the 7 train hoping that "rain delay" really did just mean that. Two hours later, just as I'm mid-hot dog, the game is called and the dream is dead. Looks like I should start saving now for the $10 hotdog next season.
